The first week in September, or once the big tent is up, the NVVFD starts collecting donations for the Auction. Members will arrange to come to your home for pick-up of large items (see schedule below). Other items can be dropped off at the tent as long as someone is present. Members are usually on-site to accept donations on weekend days and most weekday nights in September up until 9 PM. Please do not stop by to view auction items for sale prior to the start of the Auction.

We are an all volunteer organization, completely dependent on donations and fund raisers. Unlike many Fire and First Aid organizations, we receive no funding from the municipal tax base and we never charge for our services. All donations are greatly appreciated and put to use providing emergency care for the people of New Vernon -- those who live here, those who work here and those passing through.
