The first week in September, or once the big tent is up, the NVVFD starts collecting donations for the Auction. You will receive a mailing requesting specific items.

Members will arrange to come to your home for pick-up of large items. Other items can be dropped off at the tent as long as someone is present. Members are usually on-site to accept donations on weekend days and most weekday nights in September up until 9:00 PM. Please do not stop by to view auction items for sale prior to the start of the Auction.

Doors open at 7:00 AM for tickets for entrance throughout the day to the White Elephant Tent. Auction previews in the Auction Tent from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM the day of the auction ONLY. Reserved Seats available at 7:00 a.m. White Elephant Tent open 8 am to 6 pm. Numbers for access to the White Elephant tent starting at 7:00 am. Auction starts at 9:00 AM and finishes approximately 6:00 PM.

Refreshments are available for sale on the premises.

DONATIONS NEEDED
Household items, clothing, sporting goods, books, furniture, antiques, autos in running condition, trailers, lawn tractors, boats, tools, toys, sporting goods, Knick Knacks, dishes, glassware, table and bed linens, games, vinyl records, music CD's, DVD's, juvenile furniture, housewares, jewelry, outdoor furniture, musical instruments, electronics, pianos (At our discretion), plus any other saleable items.

Due to the NJ laws on dumping, we are severely restricted in the items that we can dispose of legally. Please be considerate of our predicament.

As always, we CANNOT accept large appliances, bedding (Springs, mattresses, pillows), any containers (drums, cans, etc., empty or full), paint, tires, rug padding, console stereos, wooden frame storm windows or screens, air conditioners, non-working T.V.s or dehumidifiers, used plumbing and building supplies, used curtain rods, oversized drapes, sofas, dated computer equipment.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED
Members and non-members work side-by-side to prepare for this day. Non-members are welcome to help prepare for the auction throughout September, as long as a NVVFD member accompanies them.

We always appreciate an extra hand on Auction day too!
